2013 + 2014 Elite Skills
TO REGISTER - email Erin Thornton (Director, Programs) ethornton@yhahockey.com with your child's:
- full name
- date of birth
- playing position
- current level of play
- email address (parents)
Payment will be done via e-transfer:
- e-transfer $189 to accounts@yhahockey.com
- once payment has been received, the registration is confirmed
- price includes GST
Program Information
YHA Small Group Training Program Details
- all sessions run by YHA Hockey staff
- all sessions are for current YHA Hockey players (2025/26 season)
- one (1) ice time per week / 8 consecutive weeks
- Parents develop the groups
- Wednesdays = 6 sessions (JAN-FEB 2026)
- Thursdays = 6 sessions (JAN-FEB 2026)
On-ice focus
- Quick, explosive skating - Forwards & Backwards
- Pivots and lateral mobility
- Puck protection & stick-handling
- Precision puck movement
- Shooting in stride
- Shot selection
- Battle and compete techniques
- Small area games
Refund Policy
The following refund policy will apply to all YHA Development camps and programs:
- All cancellations MUST be made in writing, prior to the start date of the camp / program
- Refund requests after the camp or program start date will not be eligible for a credit and/or refund
- FULL refunds will be made for medical reasons ONLY
- A copy of the doctor’s certificate will be required at the time of the refund request
- If you cancel for any other reason, you will be reimbursed 50% of the camp cost OR applicants may request a FULL camp credit for future YHA Development camps / programs
- An administration fee of $50 will apply to all cancellations
